Code Of Conduct Trial: Senate President Bukola Saraki Meets Tinubu At VP’s Office To Beg

Embattled Senate President Bukola Saraki arrived at the VP’s office in Abuja today accompanied by former Vice President Abubakar Atiku to beg for forgiveness from the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu. While Saraki arrived the VP’s office in the company of Deputy Speaker Yusuf Lasun, Senate Majority Leader Ali Ndume and several senators while Tinubu was accompanied by Chief Bisi Akande and some APC governors and senators. State House reporters were warned not to report the meeting as Chief Akande claims it is a meeting of top party leaders trying to settle a serious crisis.  Saraki is attempting to avoid a calamitous corruption trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, a trial that’s bound to reveal his dirty secrets as well as possibly lead to his disgraceful exit as President of the Nigerian Senate.

MTN Withdraws Suit, Pays N50bn ‘In Good Faith’

On Wednesday, the mobile phone company finally withdrew the case at the federal high court in Lagos in response to a request by the Nigerian authorities. Ondo Court Remands Man Who Beheaded 3 Year-Old Niece Into Prison Custody

On Wednesday, the Chief Magistrates Court sitting in Akure, the Ondo State capital ordered that Sheba Samuel, who gruesomely beheaded his three-year-old niece, Dieko Adunbarin, be remanded in the custody of Olokuta Prison. Sheba Samuel SaharaReporters Media Mr. Sheba, 44, was arrested by the officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Ondo State Command in Ikare Akoko Local Government Area (LGA) of the State for the murder of the toddler. Mr. Sheba allegedly killed the toddler as part of a cult ritual. SaharaReporters learned that the suspect was an instructor at a local nursery school in the community before ‎carrying out the dastardly act. At the court, the Police Prosecutor, Martins Olowofeso, gave a graphic narration from the accused confessional statement detailing the beheading of the young Adunbarin with a kitchen knife.
